What’s your definition of “The Great Kiwi Bach”? We think it should be at the beach, have a hint of nostalgia & be cosy enough for its occupants to relax in. It should be a base in which you can retreat to the beach in the morning with a good book, while the kids create a sandcastle masterpiece, have a swim or bask in the sun & when it’s time for to refuel, head back to base for refreshments. As the sun goes down, it’s a BBQ on the deck, everyone settles down for the night & the whole process is re-lived the next day!
In the 1950’s the kiwi bach became a symbol of the beach holiday lifestyle & the location of many fond childhood memories. A traditional bach often isn’t what it used to be, as it has seemingly evolved into something a bit grand in a lot of cases, so when we come across a bach that has been lovingly cared for & has it’s classic bach like feel retained, then it’s pretty exciting.
We are honoured to have been entrusted with the marketing of “Killarney” which features all the bach attributes & is located in a prime spot at Pohara Beach. Only the beach reserve in front separates you from the sand. The location is in close proximity to an array of cafes, general store, health spa, harbour, golf course, cycle/walking track, tennis courts & of course all the beach activities you care to partake in!
Lovingly maintained over the years & holding loads of treasured memories by the four generations who have enjoyed “Killarney” – it’s now time to pass it on to a new family to enjoy. The easy layout includes a sep. kitchen, lounge with ranch sliders opening out onto the deck, 2 bdrms & bthrm. The 809m2 section also offers heaps of space to kick a ball around & comfortably fit the vehicles, boat & perhaps a tent or two.
Are you ready to take on the tradition & make some memories for your family? Also available for sale is the separately titled, adjacent 812 m2 section - 761 Abel Tasman Drive. Buy one, or both! Happy to talk you through the process.
